I believe that means it's not obsolete.

Re: rx7620 server
UK information in Salesbuilder reports that this model is obsolete. I assume that because the Salesbuilder is EMEA specific that it includes Tunisia. If you really want one, you could try remarketed.
Suggest using rx7640 as a replacement.
Mike.

Re: rx7620 server
which shows the "TBD" even for "End of sales/ CPL removal". I would suggest to call local HP Sales team and confirm about it. However I think you are good to buy one.

Re: rx7620 server
The definition I meant was that the sales definition of obsolete, and certainly did not mean to imply that the product not covered by support and warranties.
The information I gave is what the HP product "Salesbuilder" shows as of 1st November 2007 and it states that it is "Obs" - i.e. no longer orderable from HP. This information is only applicable to the EMEA area and the servers maybe available in Asia and/or Americas.
There may also be some of the rx7620 still available for purchase from those dealers that hold stock, but if you need to place the order with HP it is a non starter.
The only caveat, would be if someone at HP has made an error in the salesbuilder product database for the last month.
I will find out for sure from HP directly but the response may take upto 48 hours.
Watch this space.
Mike.

Re: rx7620 server
Just for the record, the position from HP for the EMEA area (Europe, Middle East & Africa) is that the rx7620 is no longer available to purchase.
This information comes from HP.
