rx7640 - hardware raid supported for system disk???

Hello,

Is hardware raid supported for the internal system disk on an rx7640 running sles10 linux? I don't see it supported in the specs, and when I booted the system off the foundation pack cd to upgrade firmware and install linux, I went in to the disk configuration option and did not see raid available. I'm just worried I was missing something.

Other then a tool like Mondo Rescue, is there any other way to clone the system disk to create a backup?

Thanks,

You may use the sa640x kit to connect the internal disks to a smart array controller.

See the matrix:

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Oops, these were for HP-UX.
