rx8640 MP boot stops at acpid

I am setting up an rx8640 and when powering it on, the MP boot stops at the acpid check. Not sure what to look at for the problem.

Here is the out from the serial console, it sits at the end and does not move past it:

Re: rx8640 MP boot stops at acpid

Well, ACPI is a type of power/environmental specification, so I would gather that ACPID is a daemon or process that controls this spec.  In these servers ACPI resides within the MP, so you may have a faulty Core IO board.   If you have two of them in the server, try swapping them around.
