sudo 1.6.8p12 not working properly on 11.23 Itanium

Hi,

I have just installed sudo and satisfied all build time dependencies. (gcc make).

I install the sudo 1.6.8p12 depot from Porting and Archive Center and all goes well. Post install, i go try to test running sudo and I'm getting the following message:

$ sudo su -
/usr/lib/hpux32/dld.so: Unable to find library 'libroken.so'.
Killed


Would anyone have any ideas on what to do here?

Hi KPS,

It seems that something is wrong as a part of build-up. The reference to the library "libroken.so" looks absurd.

Alternatively you can try installing the Sudo A.06.00-1.6.8p12.001 available to download at
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXIEXP1123&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try the install of sudo the way you suggested with the link you provided and report back with my results.
