I understand that the superdome I have is conected to HP EVA for OS,app disks and XP12000 for data.
I need to understand the above output..
When asked, I can provide the information here..I want to know about the cellboards, cores,.max amount of memory in a cell, CPU and core relations etc..
Thank you very much.

Re: understanding superdome
Don't worry about this - just ignore.
For the other questions you should read the owners manual available from hp.com/go/bsc
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: understanding superdome
I followed this path:
hp.com/go/bsc
Discover and use a product
HP Integrity servers
HP Integrity Superdome SX2000 Servers
Not sure what to look out for here...
Also tried
hpc.com/bsc-Resources-manuals
As I said, I like to understand my superdome better. I have access to login into it.
It has a few nPars and vPars.
I want to understand how they have been built etc etc.
to start off....
How can see the firmware version of my superdome?

Re: understanding superdome
To see firmware revision you have to log on MP, in the command mode use "sysrev" command.

Re: understanding superdome
Quick summary for those who dislike documents.
superdomes are paritioned in layers.
On the hardware layer, you assign cells to a hardware partition, called an npar.
On a software layer you actually have two choices. You can build HP-UX systems with vpar, and you can build Linux, Windows and HP-UX systems with hpvm technology.
Pretty cool actually.

---->Chapter 2 Partitioned Server:Node Partitions:Charles Keenan
Your best bet is to NOT use the shortcut but to read enough how Cell Based servers work.
I also found below link quite useful but give it enough time to read and visualize:
docs.hp.com/en/B2355-90702/B2355-90702.pdf
"How can see the firmware version of my superdome?"
----->Go to MP->Command Mode and enter sysrev
MP:CM> sysrev
