upgrade processor rx2660

Hi, I've added a processor into my rx2660 but it returns a message: Sched Reconf.
I've tried to reconfigure the cpu but without results.
May be I have to update the firmware. But which ?

Thank you

Re: upgrade processor rx2660

What CPU type was installed? What type did you install? Where did you get this message? What else did you try? What OS is running?

CPU must be the same type.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: upgrade processor rx2660

My OS is HPUXi v2, The CPU is the same that there already is installed. The message appears when I turn on the server as a warning error and also if I enter into the EFI console manager and type the cpuconfig command.

Re: upgrade processor rx2660

The message "Sched Reconf" means the system will reconfigure the CPU core on next boot. Did you try to reboot the system? If it does not help, I suggest you will check MP DF -all output to see if you installed identical new processor module with other CPU mdules. MP FPL may show you some more details about the problem. Can you upload DF output and MP SEL output for reference? Also MP SR output is required to see if your system canm support your new CPU module.
