upgrading rx2620 with Smart Array 6402

I have a integrity rx2620 with one disk 73GB without Smart Array. Windows 2003 Enterprise.

I need upgrade this server to Smart Array 6402 with two disk of 73GB in RAID1 without lost data.

Any idea pls...

Hi Fernando,

you should consider backing up data files from one 73GB disk before you install smartarray card. After installation of smartarray card you can configure RAID from prior to windows boot and let the RAID build the file system to additional disk. From EFI shell run "map -r" to verify that you see only one 73GB disk and from there you should be able to access EFI\windows directory to initate windows boot. Also you need to reconfigure efi boot manager to point to right disk paritition and in order to do this you should consider deleting old windows boot path and add new windows boot path from efi boot manager.
