web access to Management Processor of rx4640: ILO or HP web console ?
I can connect to Management Processor (MP) of my rx4640 server by means of telnet.
I also can connect by means of a web browser. It shows classic HP web console.
But doc titled "hp Integrity and hp 9000 Integrated Lights-Out Management Processor
Operations Guide" (downloaded from hp.com) shows web access to MP LAN port is iLO (Integrated Lights-Out). iLO is a TRUE web admin tool, not just a terminal emulator launched from a web browser as HP web browser is.
I cannot get iLO admin interface in my web browser as well as other features as SSH or IPMI.
Are they available by means of a firmware upgrade or similar ?

Re: web access to Management Processor of rx4640: ILO or HP web console ?
You need to have iLO MP firmware E.03.13 for those features. In this version, MP name has been changed to iLO. This version offers unlicensed features such as Secure Web Access , Web based iLO GUI , IPMI over LAN etc.
SSH , LDAP are licensed features.
Refer this link for latest firmware patch details. If you are thinking of upgrading firmware , better keep it latest.

Check the current firmwares on the systems using
MP -> CM -> SYSREV
