1. What do I need to configure to enable the web console to work?
2. When telneting to the MP and switching to console, I need to enter ctrl-ecf command to be able to write since there is an existing serial console connected to the server. What is the exact key-stroke sequence needed to enter the ctrl-ecf so I could enter the console.
Thanks in advance,
Ken

Solutionmake sure you have the current firmware on the MP (E.03.15). Find the version with "HE LI". You can enable/disable Web- or telnet acces with the SA command.
About the sequence:
first
then c f (without

Re: webconsole not working on the MP
you wrote:
"when connecting to the web console using the default port"
This is maybe your fault: You must not connect to the port you defined in the MP settings.
Instead you connect just to the IP of the MP via HTTP (port 80), f.e.
http://mymp.mydomain.com
Then, a java applet will be loaded from the MP that does connect via the defined port with SSL encryption.
=> both port 80 and the defined port (f.e. 2023) should be opened by firewalls etc. between the client and the MP to access the Web port.
best regards
Stefan

Re: webconsole not working on the MP
default web port is not 80.
See LC command in CM menu.
