Nigel Upton, HPE Worldwide Director & General Manager IoT/GCP, will give a keynote speech on Monday morning. He is going to show how data from the IoT can be used to generate profit.

The IoT helps to generate new revenue streams, cut costs and raise the customer satisfaction. To reach these goals, it is necessary to collect and process the appropriate data. Nigel Upton will present successful projects from manufacturing and the car industry and point out best practices.

Interactive elements

The Industry of Things World puts a unique focus on interactivity. The participants have the opportunity to uncover use cases and challenges, which are usually not discussed in public.

Matthias Roese, HPE Domain Executive - Global Industries Manufacturing & Distribution, will show during his Ice-Breaker Session on Sunday evening, how to plan and execute IoT projects successfully. He will be on stage on Monday to present one of the event’s Breakout Streams.

Another highlight of the event in Berlin will be the speech of Kevin Ashton. The British tech pioneer is known as the inventor of the term Internet of Things. This will be his only public appearance in Europe this year.
