Real-World Supply Chain Transformation: Learn What Works at HPE Discover 2018
Of all the many exciting applications of the Industrial Internet of Things, few hold more promise than its ability to improve the efficiency and resiliency of supply chains. As Cliff Henson, HPE’s SVP for Global Supply Chain, pointed out in a recent article (Four Ways to Future-Proof Your Supply Chain), “those who succeed in truly integrating the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) into their value chains can capture a portion of a trillion-dollar opportunity. Connected assets, people, and places can deliver actionable insights in an industrial environment, increasing production uptime and reducing operational risks. A seamless digital platform allows supply chain networks to transfer data from every node, automate processes, and make decisions in real-time.”
Those are not just theoretical claims: HPE embarked on a digital transformation of its own supply chain several years ago, assembling data from various suppliers, sites, and systems on a single digital platform to ensure a continuous, end-to-end process.
If you’d like to hear how we did it and how your organization can benefit from our insights, join us at HPE Discover 2018 Las Vegas. You won’t want to miss this session from George Sypher, HPE Global Operations Digital Enablement and Innovation:
HPE’s supply chain digital transformation: Using digital manufacturing technologies to flow data across the value chain (Session ID: B4846). Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
George will explore how supply chains are becoming increasingly global, complex and networked. Real-time visibility into internal functions, supply chain networks, IoT and ERP data is vital to meeting production deadlines. It can give you proactive insight into issues that impact delivery of the right products to the right markets at the right time. Hear how HPE is mining data across internal functions and external manufacturing operations to gain time-to-market and supply-demand efficiencies. George will also discuss the importance of an edge-to-core digital foundation.
This is just one of dozens of IoT sessions and demos at the event; you can find the complete, searchable Discover content catalog here.
