The future of retail is closer than you think

Over the last decade, the retail landscape has undergone a tectonic shift.  Customers no longer depend on one-on-one conversations with retailers inside brick-and-mortar stores to help them make purchasing decisions.  Across sectors, foot traffic is down, digital spending is up, and profit margins are shrinking.

However, while the digital marketplace is seeing exponential sales growth, 98% of Gen Z—over 20% of the US population—still prefers the in-store experience.  A majority of millennials—23% of the population—make most of their purchases offline, as well, meaning there is a real demand to improve brick-and-mortar locations for these coveted demographics and, by extension, their families.
