3CR858-91 PPTP VPN bug in Firmware 1.3
There appears to be a PPTP bug in firmware 1.13.
Using firmware 1.13, the 3Com router is unable to connect to our Windows 2003 VPN server. The Windows server logs "The remote computer does not support the required data encryption type"
We reverted back to 1.1.2.1 and the router connected OK

Re: 3CR858-91 PPTP VPN bug in Firmware 1.3
I just noticed 1.15 had been released, so have tried this latest version, but the bug persists :-(
In the 3Com log we get the following -
2009.10.09 18:37:20 If(5) DO PPP shutdown
2009.10.09 18:37:20 If(VPN_Vif_PC) PPP fail : Peer terminate

1.15 also has a bug with firewall.
the remote administration tool built into the router will only work if the
firewall is disabled. i even tried to open the 8000 port up, still no love
