Connecting HPE 1920s 24g 2sfp switch to ADSL router

I recently purchased HPE Prolient ML350 Gen10 Server. It is not compatible with our existing Dlink 10/100 unmanaged switch. So, I am going to buy HPE 1920S 24G 2SFP switch.
I have Dlink DSL-2730U Router Modem. Can I connect this router to the HPE 1920S 24G 2SFP switch's ethernet port for internet access? I mean can use one of the 24 ethernet ports for uplinking purpose? will this connection works without any issue?

Connected Devices to the 1920s switch would be as follows:
One ML350 Gen10 server, 19 clients, one network printer and above mentioned ADSL Router Modem.

Re: Connecting HPE 1920s 24g 2sfp switch to ADSL router

Hi pingpong,

I understand you would like to use HPE 1920s 24G to connect an ADSL router and a ML30 Gen10 server.

This router as well as the server have Ethernet ports so if you connect them to HPE 1920s I do not believe it will be any compatibility issue.

The switch supports VLANs, 802.1q, static routing, ACLs, LACP, etc..
