Joining two networks with overlapping subnets. How?

Hi,

What is the correct way to achieve this?

We are looking to join two networks with multiple over-lapping subnets (192.168.x.x/24 & 10.x.x.x/16). I need to know the best practice way of achieving this with HP ProCurve gear (5406zl and 3500 series switches).

Can someone please advise how this can be properly and cleanly achieved?

Cisco seam to have articles on this but nothing for HP??

Thanks!

Hi Langrdge,

All of the Cisco guides i found about this subject explain how to use NAT to achieve it.  To my knowledge, the 5400 and 3500 have no NAT capabilities - you need to find another router to place between your networks.
