Need help choosing a router.

I am starting up a small business and want some advice on a 3com router. I need vpn/remote access to the router/network from the internet for my personal use and I need multiple vlan capabilities and I need a firewall. Can anyone suggest a 3com router for this?

Thanks.

Re: Need help choosing a router.

if you want an SMB All-in-one box, have a look at the 3CRWDR300A-73 - it's an ADSL wireless n Router; a cable model is available as well, but I don't have any experience with that.

I have personally configured site to site VPN on them, which, although a little contorted to set up (Need to add static routes), works very well. It also supports client to site VPN, but I have not had any experience setting that up.

You can also allow remote administration to the router, and it has a built in firewall, which allows 20 sets of trigger ports, and 20 single port firewall rules.

It supports VLANS as well.

Comes with a 2 year hardware warranty, 30 days free basic support, and I was quoted £50 to put 2 of them onto an 1 year advance issue support pack.
