Re: QoS settings in switch network...
I am tring also to figure out HPE QoS and am having a hard time finding quality information explaining HPE's use of QoS.
See the attached files - hpe matrix, I believe your switches require version 16.02 at a minimum to accept QoS TRUST. Search the document for "trust."
Sorry for lack of help.

Re: QoS settings in switch network...
Fortunately seems like that my sw versions supports "qos trust"...
I just read chapter 4 (starting from page 127) from wron sw version's (15.18) Advanced Traffic Management Guide (https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c04777702) and I find that quite ok. If I understood right I don't need qos trust because without being denied switches should obey given dscp-mappings by default (possibly!?!?)
Now I try to find that ATMG documentation for sw version 16.02 or more!
--EDIT---
Found sw 16.05 version https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=a00038722en_us but still no information about "qos trust"... If somebody from HPE/Aruba sees this message, would you mind to point me an document which tells what "qos trust.." does and where it should be used.

Re: QoS settings in switch network...
I have found no good single source of explanation about HPE QoS.
This site was helpful to me: https://thenetworkstack.com/hp-switch-provision-qos-guide/#comment-3782175514

Re: QoS settings in switch network...
Good solid info but nothing new considering "official" manual about traffic management.
Still need to know about "qos trust" and what it's good for?

Re: QoS settings in switch network...
The following link is not specifically for procurve/provision switches the concept may provide insight assuming hpe is trying to be consistant accross their platforms:
