RIP / VLAN

i have two separate network (192.168.10.1/24 + 192.168.20.1/24) with their servers, computers etc in building using VLAN switch. i need to join both networks so computers can access cross network resources.

do i need to configure RIP on aruba 2920-24g?

is there a way without using telnet (CLI) ?

what could be the basic command to active it between VLAN 1 (port 1-12) and VLAN 2 (port 13-24)

Re: RIP / VLAN

Hello,

RIP and other routing protocols are used to share routing information among multiple routers, among other things. In your case you have one switch with multiple VLANs, so you only need to configure "ip routing" (in the CLI configuration context) to turn your switch into a routing switch that can route packets between directly connected VLANs.

Best regards,
Justin
