Routing between VLANs on 3Com 4200G
Hi,
I have 3Com Switch 4200G 24-Port Software Version 3Com OS V3.02.07s168.

Re: Routing between VLANs on 3Com 4200G
Add an IP address to each VLAN on the switch (maximum of 8 IP addresses).
Any device that uses one of these IP addresses as its default gateway will be routed by the switch.

Re: Routing between VLANs on 3Com 4200G
Your advice is right, if I want to use 4200G as a router.
I want enable communications between different VLANs on this device.

Re: Routing between VLANs on 3Com 4200G
Communications between VLANs is done with a router.
You can use the switch itself, by giving each VLAN an IP address on its interface. Alternatively, you can trunk all the VLANs to a router which can do the routing, like this picture:
