Routing to different subnet in 3com 4500
My IP is 10.40.45.20
the 3com's IP is 10.40.45.110
I have no probem access switch.
I have a VPN tunnel to our datacenter between 10.40.45.1 <--> 192.168.199.1
how would I add a rount in the 3com 4500 so that our monitoring machine at 192.168.199.52 can reach the switch at 10.40.45.20.
The GUI needs Network, subnet, and next hop. Not sure what I need for those.
Thanks

Re: Routing to different subnet in 3com 4500
The "Next Hop" is the target for your route.
In other words, on your 3COM switch, to get to 192.168.199.0/24, it will presumably point to 10.40.45.1.
