Re: STP enable
Hello Muthukumar1 ,
It is like most of the other vendor switches just enable STP, usually by default MSTP is the stp version you can use.
There is no problem when you are using bridge aggregation,
You may want to check the following guidestarting from page 123 for more details:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-a00052900en_us
Hope this helps!

Re: STP enable
Hi team,
Yes.we are using Bridge aggregation and soem switches is having single uplink only, In this scenerio we not able to use bridge aggregation.
1. Can we use Bridge aggregation & STP in same switces .? if yes could you share the STP configuration for HPE switches..
2. I am facing one issue that when try to connect the one of the ciso switch with our HPE 5900 switch, link is not up. It seems our switch side particular interface is showing up but ciso switch side link is not up and same switch is working with another switch..
As of of now STP disabled ..
Please suggest on this..

Re: STP enable
Hello Muthukumar1,
As mentioned in the link above - the configuration guide there are examples for STP also for bridge aggregation.
There should not be any issue to use bridge aggregation and STP. From STP perpective Bridge aggregation is one link.
There is no special handling when using Bridge aggregation and STP.
There is difference in STP between MSTP, STP, and Cisco implementation of the STP but all of them can interoperate with each other.
The easiest way is to use MSTP which is supported by all of the switches usually.
Please note that the examples are with Comware 5 and you may be using Comware 7 and there could be minor differences in the commands but mainly are the identical.
Following is a link how to create Bridge aggregation:

Following is a video how to create Bridge aggregation between comware and Cisco:

Hope this helps!
