Vlan Creation (Master Vlan Switch and Client Vlan Switch)

Dear All,

We have mixed environment of HPE (Comware) 5120/5130 and HP Aruba Switch (2920/2530 and 2930) ,

We have six vlan , not all switches have ports in each of the six vlans.Currently we maintain the vlan independently , and manually defined vlan on each port , we would like to configure vlan master switch (5120EI)

and rest all switches to be vlan client , Need help with best practice and cli commands,

Hello,
Do you want to set 5120/5130 as Layer 3 and rest as Layer2?
Can you share network topology and required vlans on switches so based on that I will share cli commands.

I may be wrong but your question sounds like you are searching for a feature which will allow the switches to dynamically learn and configure the necessary VLANs on the switch-to-switch links? Something similar to Cisco VTP?

If this is true please check the MVRP feauture in the switch documenation. It should be providing this functionality.

It is described in the Advanced Traffic Management Guide of the ArubaOS -S switches, here for example 2920
