Will unpluging restart or reset?

We have a 3cr858-91 Office Connect 3com router.  I have lost the ability to view the settings through a web browser. I cant even get to the login screen.  Our communications are fine within the network as well as on the internet.  The problem is I can no longer manage its settings.  If I unplug the router and plug it back in, will it just re-start, maybe then allowing me to log on, or will it re-set itselt ot the factory defaults? 

Any advise onthis will be greatly appreciated.
