The procedure for Itanium Disks is much different from the regular PA-RISC machines.
Is there a guideline for using LVM on Itanium disks?

The difference is the third partition for HP-utilities.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Configuring Itanium disks
2
EFI 100MB
HPUX 100%
The second one says to create it like this:
3
EFI 500MB
HPUX 100%
HPSP 400MB
What's the difference?

Re: Configuring Itanium disks
Several checks can be done with this software. It's also a good idea to create a larger first partition (500MB instead of only 100 MB), to prevent space promblems later, bacause the number of EFI utilities is growing.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
