Re: Create software stripping with 5 disk

What hardware is used?

Or: Where are these disks?

Hope this helps!

Re: Create software stripping with 5 disk

i will be adding the lun from storage .

5 disk each of 100GB will be mapped from storage to the server.

Need to know how to proceed with the disk stripping using this 5 disk.

Need to have 5 file systems to be created with disk stripping

This is exactly the point. Depending on array model the array will probably use stripping on much more disks than only 5, even if you map a single LUN out. So you don't have a benefit using LVM stripe on top. What array we talk about?

Hope this helps!
