Re: DLVM

DLVM is Distributed LVM (seen in SAM w/ MC SG environment)

You won't be able to do any LVM changes to it via SAM, all of the commands should be run from the command line.

Re: DLVM

Hi:

"DLVM" is also known as "SLVM" -- "Distributed Logical Volume Manager" or "Shared Logical Volume Manager".

See document #A5403243.

Re: DLVM

Hi,
I think DLVM is activated by MC/Service Guard daemon (cmlvmd). By DLVM, you can use command like #vgchange -a e vgXX or vgchange -c y vgXX, it manages the lvol,pv,vg management in MC/SG enviroment. If only LVM, no such functions.

Hope it will be helpul.
