Directories like /tmp/vx.123.124.5436.123 after reboot
There is nothing that looks strange in syslog.log and/etc/rc.log.
I can deleted these directory and every thing seems OK but after a reboot another lot of vx.xxx files are created.
Not sure where to go from here. Feedback most welcomed.

Re: Directories like /tmp/vx.123.124.5436.123 after reboot
This is a bug that has been reported to HP. Here is there response.
JAGag22707: Lot's of vx* directories left over in /tmp
├в ┬вWhat is the problem? Some empty directories can be seen in /tmp/vx* after a reboot.
├в ┬вWhat is the workaround? These directories can be ignored.

Thankyou for your prompt response.
Ok I will ignore (delete) them for now.
Do you know if this is related to particular patch which I may have applied?

I can find no patch that claims this under 11.23 or 11.31 or 11.11.
