Disk Change Date

is it possible to get date stamp of disk change in LVM ? To know which disk changed when ?

You can try to search the (OLD)syslog for "vgcfgrestore" entries - after several reboots this information is gone ...

Actually, I modified a script for my OS HP-UX 11i v11 to followup LV Changes. I can see the last modification date of LVM, but it needs to be put into cronjob ,otherwise it is useless..

This is from HP UX 11.31 resources modifed for HP UX 11.11

First creates a directory lvmbackup; datafills from current LVM configuration and then checks if there is any change in LV config when executed.
