SolutionFrom the "newfs" man page -- "Current valid Fstype values are: hfs and vxfs for the HFS and JFS (VxFS) file systems, respectively."
If you are trying to mount different file systems:
See the appropriate man pages for the various types -- mount_cachefs(1M), mount_cdfs(1M), mount_hfs(1M), mount_lofs(1M),
mount_nfs(1M), mount_vxfs(1M),
These both assume you haven't purchased a 3rd party volume manager like Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM), in which case you would also have the file system type appropriate for it.
