HP-UX 11.23 does not see new drives in MSA1000

I am fairly new to the HP-UX environment and I have added 2 drives to our MSA1000 to expand our storage. I don't see the drives in the OS. How do I get them to show up. I can see them in the CLI console. The command show disks shows this

Disk101 (1.01) (0:00:00) 146.8GB 160MB/s 0,1,2
Disk102 (1.02) (0:00:00) 146.8GB 160MB/s 0,1,2
and so on to
Disk109 (1.09) (0:00:00) 146.8GB 160MB/s 0,1,2 (spare)
then is reads
Disk110 (1.10) (0:00:00) 146.8GB 160MB/s none
Disk110 (1.10) (0:00:00) 146.8GB 160MB/s none

The documentation for the MSA says that HP-UX does not support the CLI expand or extend which I understand how to do in the OS. I just need the OS to be able to see the drives.

I tried that and the OS still doesn't see it. There must be something I have to do because it is an LUN

You will *never* see the physical disks from the OS, you can see presented LUNs only.

Create or expand a LUN and present it.
