2) ignore error and continue
3) push a shell for troubleshooting the problem

Re: HP-UX Installation Error
Hi Hamid,
The error seems to be a Storage/LUN Compatiblity issue. You need to verify the LVM Limitation on this issue.

Re: HP-UX Installation Error
Are you installing to internal disks on the server? Can you confirm the disk you are installing to is actually good? Perhaps try reseating the disk and then Rescan for Hardware from the installation shell to see if they remain seen.

Re: HP-UX Installation Error
Dear Bob, thanks for the reply, I tried the rescan. The installation can see both of my local disks. As I said, I could successfully install HP-UX the day before. But when I tried again I encountered this problem.
Please help me. I'm getting fired :(

SolutionHave you tried each of the disks separate from each other? Have you tried power cycling the server (PE -> Cabinet)? The errors seem to be related to a disk problem, but maybe a reset will resolve this (or cause a failing disk to go dead).
