HPUX Boot replacement

Root disk got failed and mirror is configured.
Server was booted with pimary disk and its got failed now.
shall i ask ventor to proceed for replacement ?? or shall i do any precaution steps ??

HPUX : 11:31 -- VG 00 :    Boot disk failed.
