How long should it take pvmove?

pvmove occurs at the atomic level, that is, it makes absolutely sure that the PE has been correctly moved and holds off changes to a specific PE until it has been moved. If the move fails, some all the PEs should exist without any loss. But some will be moved and others still on the original system. LVM doesn't care--it just uses each PE whereever it is located. But as with any major change to a production database, a full bakcup is strongly recommended.
