How to install tusc-7.8-hppa-11.23.depot.gz

hi,

I download tusc-7.8-hppa-11.23.depot.gz from the hpsite. But i don't know how to install it.
Please help.

Follow this steps:
(I assume the file is in /tmp)

# gunzip tusc-7.8-hppa-11.23.depot.gz
# swinstall -s tusc-7.8-hppa-11.23.depot

The GUI will open. Select the product(s) using the space key, press "m" to mark and select -> Actions -> install from the top menu.

Don't be so hard on your browser - I highly doubt it was the browser's fault!

You are right, it was not only the browser ;-)

First 2 have the same timestamp (this was the browser), then I pressed 'stop', because I forgot the full path in the swinstall command (cut'n'paste).


Anyway!

If you want to skip the GUI you can use:
# swinstall -s $PWD/tusc-7.8-hppa-11.23.depot \*
