Re: How to view which is the boot disk in the mirrored pair on 11.23 for Itanium ?
If you boot the system you get a little cryptic HW of the disks. You want know which disks are the disks you are able to boot from it must have installed a EFI partition.
You can see which disk has a EFI partition with
# ioscan -e -fnCdisk
This command has also the advantage that it will show you the cryptic path that is showed you during boot process.
Hope it helps

Command :-
grep "Boot device" /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
The output should be similar to :-
vmunix: Boot device's HP-UX HW path is: 0.1.1.1.2.0
And verify your paths with
#setboot

Re: How to view which is the boot disk in the mirrored pair on 11.23 for Itanium ?
Itanium do not have a LIF Volume and has a EFI partion instead. That is why procedure for creating mirrors and verifications is slightly different.
Hope This Clarifies,
Devender
