Increase mirrored lvol

Hi,

We have to increase the size of /home on vg00. It has to be done offline as we don't have OnlineJFS. This lvol is mirrored with Mirrordisk/UX. Does the mirror have to be broken first, then extend, then remirror?

No, not at all.

Just do the 'lvextend' and the 'extendfs'. LVM will take care of extending both the primary and the mirror.

No.

1) umount the filesystem.
2) lvextend the LVOL
3) extendfs
4) mount the filesystem
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
