Re: LVM Problem
Its depend.
If your server is PA-RISC, you can interact with IPL and boot in maintenance mode on a system with a root disk configured with LVM:
ISL> hpux -lm boot

Re: LVM Problem
you would need to boot in maintainance mode
that is hpx -lm , and try seeing what is deal with lvol1..
Or try interrupting boot and search for boot devices and boot through the mirror, that might help..

Re: LVM Problem
you will see a menu whowing commands like Search
Boot
....
Select search, you need to know what are devices you can boot through.. there shall be option to see What is alternate and primary device setup..
You can do "boot alt"
Interact with IPL & do hpux -lq ... or hpux -lq
If this boots the host, you will need to see and replace the primary disk..
If this doesnt get through, you might need to boot through ignite
Thanks

Re: LVM Problem
Once you enter in maintaince or single user mode, you will need to activate VG's, vgchange -a y vg00 (Like this) and try seeing lvdisplay/pvdisplay, diskinfo etc... once you crack through this.. you will be able to make out what is wrong.. get disk replaced and do mirroring stuff back..

Prashant
