I don't know if it's different in the tru64 world, but here in HP-UX land, a stale file handle generally means that the NFS server that was provided that particular NFS files system has "gone away". 99 times out of a 100, the easiest way to fix this is to reboot the NFS client that is receiving the error message.

Thanks for reply.
We have reboot both of the NFS Server and the Client but the error message is still here. We want to look for related files in the server but don't know how use the information fs (n,m) fiel gen and so ...
Any idea please.
Thanks.
