NFS
Hello All,
I have Just configured a NFS Server. More than 300+ Clients will be using the server to share their files. But i didt defined rszie & wsize in dfstab while sharing the resouce.
Can any one let me know how can it effect the performace. Its in development phase so i want to tune it now as it will be difficult once it becomes a procuction.
Any other inputs are welcome.
Regards
Ankit

Re: NFS
rsize and wsize are not specified by the server, they are mount options used by the NFS client. There are factors that can affect the maximum rsize and wsize supported by the server, but as far as specifying the actual transfer size used on a per-mount basis, that's something you request during the mount itself.
