Was the name of OL JFS Utilities 3.3 changed to VxVM when it rev'ed to 3.5 & 4.1 and which
versions work with HP-UX 11.11 or 11.23?

Solution
You're confusing FS with VM. The equivalent to VxVM would be LVM - Logical Volume Manager. Online JFS is the souped up version of the Journaled File System, which is the souped of version of the Hierarchical File System. Online JFS (also from Veritas as is VxVM - thereby causing the confusion)simply adds online re-sizing capabilities to the file system.

Hi Paul:
VxVM is the Veritas Volume Manager. VxFS is the Veritas File System otherwise known as JFS (Journaled File System, which is its architecture).
