Output Ioscan and lvmtab is diferent!!!

Hi,

After to reconectar the Server, i can´t activate volume group of data.
output:
#ioscan -fnC disk

Is Different of /etc/lvmtab

as I can solve the problem?

What you can do is move the lvmtab to lvmtab.back and do a vgscan to recreate the lvmtab.

# mv /etc/lvmtab /etc/lvmtab.back
# vgscan -p -a
like what you see?
# vgscan -a

Or vgexport -m map .... vgimport specifying the correct disks.

# mv /etc/lvmtab /etc/lvmtab.back
# vgscan -a -v
It will create new lvmtab file

Could be worth calling HP support fi the problem is still unsolved and the data/downtime is of value.

Do you have a Make tape or make net backup so you could recovery the sysetm easily?

propably disks may not be connected properly
