I have a problem like your and I used vgmcr to solve this.
It's attached for you. This script will generate vgmcr utility.

Technical Knowledge Base document ULVMKBRC00009684 offers a solution.
Also, running 'pvmove' with 'nohup' is noteworthy since it would avoid the catastrophe of an aborted 'pvmove' just because of a disassociated connection.
