Hi guys,
never used vgmodify on HP-UX 11.11. Does it work the same as with HP-UX 11iv2 or 11iv3 and 1.0 LVM Volume Groups ?
In fact, I just got the vgmodify from HP Support. But with no documentation. I am supposed to increase the size of some SAN LUN by 5 Go each, and VG parameters are all OK to acknowledge the increased size.
Under 11iv2 or 11iv3 I would just have to do a vgmodify with no parameter on the inactive VG to see the new size in the VG. Does it work the very same on 11.11 for this very specific use ?
Thanks in advance for your very, very, fast answer : I am supposed to do it in less than 2 hours ...

Re: Question about unsupported HP-UX 11.11 vgmodify command
Many thanks Robert-Jan,
And I finally found a VG to make some tests with. It works as expected : no problem to expand a disk when all VG parameters are previously correctly configured.
Don't know if you have to modify things like max_pe, but I guess it must work.
