mean by INVALID. I sure don't. Do you? If
you do, then you should be able to write a
script to do the work. If you aren't, then
perhaps you shouldn't be playing with
/ete/fstab.

vi /etc/fstab
delete your entries that you consider invalid.
save.
No real other way.

fstab is an ASCII file that resides in directory /etc. Programs read it, but do not write to or from it. System administrators are responsible for creating and maintaining this file properly."
