Replace disk with VXVM on itanium 11.23
I am looking for correct procedure on how to replace a failed boot mirror disk on itanium hpux 11.23 running Veritas volume Manager 4.1

I used

with lil difference as vxrootmir was not working (donno why)
I manually mirrorred volumes, make sure u mirror them one-by-one as /stand, / and swap should be continuous.
It would work like charm.

you can use vxdiskadm, the easiest way to replace disk in VxVM.
First, Select option 4 to remove the disk for replacement.
then, select option 5 to replace the removed disk.
