Slow sytem boot HP-UX 11i v2
Hello,
We have a Veritas cluster of 4 HP-UX 11iv2 systems connected at an EMC storage.
After we buildin 50 new disk in the EMC storage and configured a system boot of the HP-UX machine is very slow. It's take 35 minutes to boot in multiuser mode. During booting the system it stays 30 minutes on:
Starting vxconfigd in boot mode (pre_init_rc).
After several messages from the EMC like:
EMC claim_device: found NR (Not Ready) device dev=/dev/rdsk/c14t0d3.
The system finally start to multi-user mode.
It seems that HP-UX doesn't recognized the new disks from the EMC.
So it there something we forfotten?

Shalom,
Make sure the disks are presented to the HP system with the correct World Wide Name and the problem should stop happening.
