Strange device special file

Hi!
I'm working with HPUX 11.23 and ServiceGuard. I tried a print_manifest and it complains about a device special file called '/dev/insf70372'
I tried some command and here are the results:

How has appeared that /dev/insf7037 file??

Thanks!

Re: Strange device special file

Shalom,

I dare say that file does not belong and was created by a typo or error.

rmsf the file, if possible boot the system and see if it re-appears.

Not much point in figuring out why it happened.

As a precaution, you should make sure your system is up to date on bi-annual patches, regardless.
