I don't think I can get away with using Ignite for a "backup solution" much longer anyhow, with the application filesystem needing to be expanded, I'm going to have to come up with a different strategy for conducting my backups (probably creating ignite for the o/s side and using tar or fbackup for the data at a different time) but I am aware that using Ignite for a backup is not typically done.

Ignite was never intended as anthing other than an OS imager. Backing up applications and/or other data should be left up to other backup methods.
