HI

I'm trying the cleanup -c1 and it's hung for more than a day.  syslog is not being written to (it is 0 in size).

Also, uptime is hanging, and I can't ssh into the server unless I interupt the hang with a ctrl-c.

Can you think of any reason why these are hanging?
