Using SAN in HP environment
Hi,
Could anyone suggest me a good book/document which explains SAN for beginers? I would also like some good documentation on managing SAN in HP-UX environment and how to use LVM commands on SAN

Re: Using SAN in HP environment
SAN is a concept but very, very dependent on the hardware you are using. The differences begin at the I/O card and continue into the switch (if you are using one) and at the disk array, almost every major model and manufacturer will be different. This is why important SAN disks are managed separately by a well trained SAN specialist. You'll see from the size of the documents that there are a lot of new concepts to learn.
